Tina Marie Keane

Director, Creative and Administrative Services

Tina Keane came to Sirius Thinking, Ltd. in the fall of 1995 to serve as Executive Assistant to Christopher Cerf in the day-to-day operation of the newly formed production company.

Tina’s role in the organization has expanded steadily and broadly through the years. She has assisted in, and has made major contributions to, the development and production of the children's educational multiple-media initiative Between the Lions; she is the production manager for the Between the Lions live traveling show; she is Sirius Thinking's research and editorial associate, music coordinator, and assistant to head writer Norman Stiles; and she still finds time to serve as the "right hand man" to the company's co-founder and president. She also administers Siriius’s offices and payroll, and served as Associate Producer of Sirius’s recently produced pilot episodes of Between the Lions for English Language Learners. As Sirius Thinking continues to grow, Tina continues to contribute to the development of new projects.

Tina began her career in the entertainment world as an administrative coordinator in the Business Affairs department of RCA Records, where she was responsible for the tracking and oversight of contractual payments and obligations for the RCA roster of artists. In September of 1993 she was recruited by Robert Kraft to join his new record division at Jim Henson Records as marketing coordinator. While working for the Jim Henson Company, Tina contributed to the development and execution of marketing plans for new product launches and supervised the creation of all printed elements. She was the creator, editor and writer of Noisy Notes, a Jim Henson Records monthly newsletter, which was distributed to the sales force, retail stores and consumers. After a fulfilling two years at Jim Henson Records, Tina was introduced to Christopher Cerf who was looking for a new administrative assistant. She got the job, and the rest is history!

Tina is also a guitarist, songwriter and evolving singer who has been a part of many diverse New York City based bands, most notably Oh Mr. Grant and Yellowfin. She has per- formed to sold-out crowds at many top venues and her music has received rave reviews from local critics. One of the many things she enjoys about working for Sirius Thinking is that she gets the opportunity to play and sing on song demos created by songwriter Christopher Cerf for Between the Lions and Sesame Street.
